Renegade Fantasy Football: House Rules

League Size

Standard league sizes at Renegade Fantasy are 12 teams, but league commissioners can choose from between eight to 16 teams. There are teams of most sizes available to join in the public lobby.

Scoring

The default at Renegade Fantasy is Half-PPR. League commissioners can select full PPR.

Roster

Standard roster size is 16 players. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 Kicker, 1 D/ST, and seven bench spots.

Draft

The only draft type currently available is snake draft. There are plans for auction drafts, but they are not ready for the start of the season. Draft order is randomly set, even in private leagues. The standard pick clock is 90 minutes. This can be customized by the commissioner. Trading of picks is allowed, but only in private leagues.

Waivers and Free Agency

FAAB waivers do not appear to be available at Renegade Fantasy, which means priority is set inverse of the standings weekly. Private leagues can make it a continually rolling list, which starts inverse of draft order. Waiver claims are processed at 4 am EST each Wednesday. Free agency starts at 5 am EST on that same Wednesday.

Trades

There is a hard Week 11 deadline for trades, regardless of whether you are in a public or private league. The deadline is at 11:59 pm EST on the Friday of Week 11. League vote is the standard for trade reviews, with only 33 percent needed for any deal to be vetoed. There is a 24 hour window for voting. Those in private leagues can change this to commissioner review if desired.

Scoring and Standings

The regular season lasts for 14 weeks, with six teams making the playoffs and the top two receiving a first round bye. Tiebreakers will be settled in this order: total points, head-to-head record, points against.

Swaps/Real Time Substitutions

Unlock Swaps
Users can unlock the ability to swap out underperforming or injured players by purchasing swap packs.

Swap Packs
Swap packs at $4.99 for five swaps. Unlimited swaps can be purchased for $49.99 for the season.

Swap Process

  • Navigate to the player management section
  • Select the player you want to swap
  • Enter the keyword ‘unlock’ to initiate the swap
  • Choose the replacement player from the available pool
  • Confirm the swap

Injured Reserve (IR)

There is no IR in standard public leagues. Private league commissioners have the option to enable IR. Players will be eligible for IR if they are officially listed as IR, Out, PUP, or NFI by their respective NFL teams.
