Jermaine Burton ‘far more likely’ to have redshirt rookie year
The Cincinnati Bengals coaching staff believes rookie WR Jermaine Burton is not quite where he needs to be as a pro to crack the receiving rotation just yet, although they are still very impressed with the third-round pick’s abilities that he has shown on tape and see him as a future starter. It is a long-shot that he is a contributor this year offensively and he may see more of a redshirt year unless he shows major growth through maturing and following the playbook over the course of the season.
Fantasy Impact
Jermaine Burton was certainly an intriguing name heading into this season, but should have no major fantasy output during his rookie year. He is a name to be left on the waiver wire until further notice.

CeeDee Lamb ‘building up’ to full reps at practice
CeeDee Lamb is still having his workload monitored at practice and is ‘building up’ ahead of Sunday’s game against Cleveland.
Fantasy Impact
The Cowboys have taken measures to make sure that Lamb’s return to the field is gradual and healthy, and that involves them still monitoring his workload at practice. HC Mike McCarthy noted that he is ‘building up to Sunday’, so he hasn’t quite seen full reps at practice yet. This news shouldn’t scare off fantasy managers and the star receiver remains a must-start for Week 1 of the season.

Ja’Marr Chase officially limited at practice Wednesday
Ja’Marr Chase was officially limited at Cincinnati’s practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Chase returned to practice on Wednesday after holding out for a new contract for most of the offseason, and the team listed him as a limited participant. It’s unclear if they’re working on ramping him up or if he willingly sat out of some drills, but this is a situation worth monitoring in the coming days. Regardless, it’s still a positive sign to see the star wide receiver back at practice, even if it’s in a limited capacity for now.
