NFL DFS Cash Game Lineup Advice & Picks (Week 4)

NFL DFS Cash Game Lineup Advice & Picks (Week 4)

Last week was one of the lowest-scoring weeks in recent memory, which led to a poor showing for our cash game options. The chalky players killed everyone, but the point of this article is to show you who the high-rostered players will be. It’s up to you to choose the ones to use, but we’ve successfully picked the guys who are highly rostered.

With that said, let’s dive into this week’s cash game options.

Week 4 Cash Game DFS Advice & Picks

The players below are the ones I’m looking at for cash game considerations for Week 4.

Quarterbacks

DraftKings

Kyler Murray (QB – ARI): $6,800 vs. WAS

Everyone sees how special Kyler Murray looks in this revamped offense, averaging 20 DraftKings points per game this season. The rushing ability made him the best quarterback in fantasy before his injury, and it appears he might be back to that level. DFS managers won’t fade him against a team like Washington, surrendering the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS): $6,500 at ARI

This matchup has the highest total of the week, and all DFS managers will dip their toes in this potential shootout. Everyone saw how special Jayden Daniels looked on Monday Night, scoring 28 DraftKings points for the second time this season. It was his first game with a passing touchdown, and he simply has one of the highest floors because of his rushing ability. Not to mention, Arizona owns a 23rd opponent rank (OPRK) against opposing quarterbacks.

FanDuel

Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI): $8,600 at TB

Jalen Hurts is the most expensive player on DraftKings, but he’s fourth in salary on FanDuel. That’s why everyone will roster him on FanDuel, establishing him as a top-three quarterback in fantasy. This matchup will add to his rostership because Tampa Bay has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing signal-callers since the start of last season.

C.J. Stroud (QB – HOU): $7,800 vs. JAX

This is another bizarre pricing discrepancy. C.J. Stroud is the third-highest-priced quarterback on DraftKings but is eighth in salary on FanDuel. That sort of difference is difficult to justify, and it’s even more bizarre since this guy has been a top-five quarterback since he was drafted last season. The matchup with Jacksonville will not stray people away, with the Jags posting a 31st OPRK against opposing signal-callers.

Running Backs

DraftKings

Jordan Mason (RB – SF): $6,700 vs. NE

DraftKings needs to step up its pricing here. Jordan Mason is the unquestioned workhorse back in San Francisco in place of Christian McCaffrey, averaging 19 DraftKings points per game. That has him justifiably priced as the second-highest back on FanDuel, but he’s outside the top 10 on DraftKings. It’s not like people will be worried about this matchup because the 49ers are a massive favorite against a pitiful Patriots team.

Aaron Jones (RB – MIN): $6,400 at GB

We get a revenge game for Aaron Jones. He has been exceptional since joining Minnesota, averaging 20 DraftKings points per game. That’s one of the highest totals in fantasy, and it isn’t easy to understand why he’s 14th in salary on DraftKings. You know he’ll be hungry against his former team, which is fantastic since Green Bay has allowed 4.7 yards per carry and the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing rushers.

FanDuel

Breece Hall (RB – NYJ): $8,000 vs. DEN

The Jets are one of the biggest favorites of the week, with Breece Hall being one of the most likely players to score a touchdown. He’s nearly -200 on some sites to hit the end zone, and you better believe he’ll do that with his guaranteed 25 touches. He’s averaging 18 FanDuel points per game in this workhorse role and should thrive against a Denver defense that’s surrendered the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing running backs since last season.

Carson Steele (RB – KC): $5,800 at LAC

Carson Steele has not gotten the price bump he deserves. He’s established himself as the primary ball-carrier in the absence of Isiah Pacheco, receiving 17 carries for 71 yards in Week 3. If this guy continues to get 15-20 carries for one of the best offenses in football, Steele needs to be well above $6,000. The game script is fantastic, too, because Kansas City enters this game as a 7.5-point favorite.

Wide Receivers

DraftKings

Rashee Rice (WR – KC): $7,300 at LAC

Rashee Rice is looking like one of the best wideouts in the league, scoring 24 DraftKings points per game. That’s the highest total of any active receiver on this slate, but it’s no surprise since he has the best quarterback in the NFL throwing him the ball. That makes the $7,300 price tag mind-boggling, especially since he’s seeing 10 targets per game.

Brandon Aiyuk (WR – SF): $6,400 vs. NE

With McCaffrey, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel all nicked up, Brandon Aiyuk will likely be rostered everywhere. We saw that last week, but Jauan Jennings stole his lore. However, DFS managers aren’t going to stay away from Aiyuk because they all know he’s the superior talent of the two. That sort of opportunity makes him an excellent bargain at $6,400, and we love that New England owns a 27th OPRK against opposing wideouts.

FanDuel

Jauan Jennings (WR – SF): $6,800 vs. NE

If Kittle and Deebo have to sit this game, Jauan Jennings might be in over 50% of the lineups out there. This guy had a historic game in Week 3 without those two, collecting 11 catches for 175 yards and three touchdowns. That’s two months of production for him in the past. He’ll be one of the focal points of the passing game if those San Francisco studs miss out.

Diontae Johnson (WR – CAR): $6,200 vs. CIN

Andy Dalton changed how people view the Panthers, with Diontae Johnson being the biggest beneficiary. This guy was a 100-reception player in his time with the Steelers and showcased that with eight catches for 122 yards in his first game with Dalton. That makes the $6,200 price tag laughable because Johnson is priced around guys like Jalen Nailor, Quentin Johnston and Xavier Worthy.

Tight Ends

DraftKings

Dallas Goedert (TE – PHI): $5,100 at TB

Dallas Goedert had the best game of any tight end all season in Week 3, recording 10 catches for 170 yards. That’s no surprise since Philly was missing A.J. Brown. Goedert should be the top target since DeVonta Smith also got injured in that game. That makes the $5,100 price tag on DraftKings shocking, especially since he’s the highest-priced tight end on FanDuel. He’s sixth in salary on DraftKings. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him in half the lineups out there.

FanDuel

Brock Bowers (TE – LV): $6,500 vs. CLE

Brock Bowers established himself as one of the best tight ends in his rookie campaign, ranking in the top five in receptions, yardage and fantasy points. That’s hard to find from a rookie tight end, and it’s hard to believe that a guy like Goedert is $1,000 more. As long as Bowers is receiving a 20% team target share he will remain one of the best options in DFS for the next decade.

Defense/Special Teams

DraftKings

Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST: $3,300 at IND

The Steelers have established themselves as the best defensive unit in the NFL. They’ve allowed just 25 points through three games, leading the league in nearly every defensive metric. That alone will have them heavily rostered. It’s hard to believe they’re only $3,300. What makes it even more bizarre is that they face Anthony Richardson. The volatile quarterback has looked terrible the last two weeks. He’s a godsend for opposing defenses because he’s susceptible to so many sacks and turnovers because of his legs. The oddsmakers love the Steelers, too, with the Colts projected to score just 18 points.

FanDuel

New York Jets D/ST: $4,800 vs. DEN

The Broncos shocked the NFL when they beat the Bucs on the road last week, but that was a fluke. This team was last in nearly every offensive statistic before that. They’re going to struggle when looking at the lack of talent on this roster. That’s scary against one of the best defensive units in the NFL, with the Jets averaging 10 FanDuel points per game. That’s why Denver is the lowest-projected offense of the week, entering this road game as a 7.5-point underdog in a game with a 38-point total.
