Ober isn't in ideal form. However, he's rock-solid at home. In 26 starts spanning 142.2 innings at home since last year, Ober has had a 3.53 ERA, 4.27 xFIP, 1.06 WHIP, 6.3 BB% and 25.5 K%. Finally, the Twins are -215, and the game's total is 8.5 runs.
Brady Basso (OAK) at CWS
Brady Basso has made three relief appearances and one start for the Athletics. The lefty also had 16 appearances (12 starts) in Triple-A this season. Basso is coming off his only start in the majors. The southpaw was sharp, spinning a quality start against the Tigers, holding them scoreless on three hits, one walk and six strikeouts in 6.0 innings. He had a 31.8 CSW%, 94 Stuff+, 107 Location+ and 96 Pitching+ against the Tigers. Basso has a dreamy matchup and ideal betting info.
The White Sox are 30th in wRC+ (68) with a 24.9 K% versus lefties and 30th in wRC+ (73) with a 23.1 K% at home this year. Chicago was tied for 28th in wRC+ (60) with a 24.9 K% in the previous 14 days. Unsurprisingly, the A's are -130, and the game's total is 8.0 runs.
