Tight end-premium usually means that when the other positions get a point per reception, the tight end gets 1.5 points. Fantasy Football Mock Draft: Tight End Premium
1.03 Bijan Robinson (RB – ATL)
It was a disappointing season for Robinson last year when he didn’t get the usage we all expected. Arthur Smith is out, and Raheem Morris is in.
Morris has said the goal is to give the ball to Bijan as much as possible. This should be the season we all hope for Bijan and the Falcons.
2.10 Mike Evans (WR – TB)
Evans has been one of the more consistent wide receivers over the last decade.
For ten straight seasons, he’s caught for over 1,000 yards; no other wide receiver has ever done that. His size makes him a prime target in the red zone, and he’s utilized it for 13 or more touchdowns in three of his last four seasons.
He has Baker Mayfield back, and that report will be great again.
3.03 Jalen Hurts (QB – PHI)
The Eagles went into a huge slump last year, which prematurely ended their season. However, they continue to support Jalen Hurts and have provided him with more options.
They signed Saquon Barkley, who is one of the most athletic and talented running backs in the league and traded for Jahan Dotson while still having A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
He still is one of the most potent rushing threats in the position, which makes him one of the best.
4.10 – Trey McBride (TE – ARI)
Experts are anticipating a massive season for McBride. We already saw his talent breakthrough last year, as he finished TE7, which was without Kyler Murray. McBride surged when Zach Ertz went on IR and was the TE3 after Week 8.
Expect him and Marvin Harrison Jr. to dominate the targets.
5.03 – DeVonta Smith (WR – PHI)
Stacks are an essential part of building an efficient fantasy roster. Stacking A.J. Brown with Hurts is tough because their ADPs are close, which makes it tough to get them.
Smith has been consistent in his last two seasons, with over 1,000 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. The Eagles added Jahan Dotson, but Smith is still the No. 2 option behind Brown.
6.10 – David Montgomery (RB – DET)
There were worries about Montgomery sharing the backfield with Jahmyr Gibbs, specifically that the rookie Gibbs would surpass Monty, but they excelled together.
Monty specifically finished RB15 and had at least ten fantasy points in all 14 games he finished. This will once again be one of the league’s better offenses and allow all of its parts to have strong fantasy seasons.
7.03 – Diontae Johnson (WR – CAR)
Johnson is going too late in drafts but will have an excellent return. Ignore how bad the Panthers’ offense was last year because they improved it. They upgraded the offensive line and drafted some promising players at running back and tight end.
They also traded for Johnson, which gives Bryce Young a legitimate playmaker. If he can live up to his potential, Johnson should have a big season.
8.10 – Chase Brown (RB – CIN)
With Joe Mixon in Houston, the Bengals need a replacement for the backfield. They brought in veteran Zack Moss but look for the sophomore Brown to take over this backfield.
9.03 – Brian Thomas Jr. (WR – JAX)
Thomas has all the qualities of a top receiver: size, speed, and toughness against defensive backs. Last year at LSU, he posted a 33% dominator rating and a nation-leading 17 touchdowns.
They need someone to replace Calvin Ridley, and although Christian Kirk is still there, don’t be surprised if Thomas becomes a favorite Lawrence.
10.10 – Tyler Lockett (WR – SEA)
It’s a new era in Seattle as Mike McDonald takes over for long-time head coach Pete Carroll.
This pick is more about who will control the offense. Fans should be familiar with offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb, who spent the last two seasons at the University of Washington. He made the Huskies one of the most potent passing offenses in the country and helped Michael Penix Jr. become a top-ten pick.
Going vertical will be the emphasis, giving DK Metcalf and Lockett plenty of opportunities this season.
11.03 – New York Jets D/ST
The Jets were one of the best defenses in the league last year and will remain that way. They posted nine top-ten finishes and added former Eagles Pro Bowler Hassan Reddick up front with one of the best secondaries led by Sauce Gardner.
12.10 – Jason Sanders (K – MIA)
When picking a kicker, you want him on a team with an offense that will move the ball. No one did it better than Miami, and they had the most possessions in the opponent’s territory. It also helps that he’ll play half of his games in warm weather.
13.03 – Brandin Cooks (WR – DAL)
Cooks started the season slowly but picked up and was a great second option for Dad Prescott. He finished the season with eight touchdowns and found the end zone in five of his final seven games, including three straight.
