David Njoku possibly sprained ankle, testing on Monday
Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku potentially suffered a high ankle sprain and is receiving testing on Monday to determine the nature and severity of his injury.

Fantasy Impact

Njoku was a Pro Bowl tight end in 2023, coming off of an 81-catch, 882-yard season. In the game against the Cowboys, he had four catches for 44 yards before leaving after suffering his injury in the second half. His situation is worth monitoring to see if he will miss extended time.

Puka Nacua (knee) exits game Sunday night, ruled out
Los Angeles Rams star receiver Puka Nacua exited the game with a knee injury and will not return to the contest versus the Detroit Lions.

Fantasy Impact

Nacua exits the game at the half with the score 10-3 as he deals with a knee ailment. He had four catches on as many targets for 35 yards and one carry for seven yards, good for a PPR total of 8.2. This moves WR Cooper Kupp into the sole WR1 role and elevates the roles of WRs Jordan Whittington, Tyler Johnson and Demarcus Robinson. His situation needs monitoring going forward to see if he misses any extended time.

Jake Ferguson: X-Rays negative for ACL tear
Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson seems to have avoided an ACL tear based on initial testing. The X-Rays showed negative, and Ferguson will undergo an MRI Monday.

Fantasy Impact

The third-year tight end was helped to the locker room by the trainers in the third quarter of Sunday’s win vs. the Browns after sustaining a knee injury. A sigh of relief here as we await further testing tomorrow.
