Check out the latest NFL injury news and notes around fantasy football.
A.J. Brown (hamstring) unlikely to play Week 4
A.J. Brown (hamstring) is considered a long-shot to play in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact
Brown has been out for several weeks because of his hamstring injury, and he’s trending towards missing another game on Sunday. That makes sense, as the team has their bye the following week and wants to give him adequate time to fully recover. DeVonta Smith (concussion) is also considered a long-shot to play, so Dallas Goedert could be primed to get a lot of work for the Eagles this week.

Sam LaPorta (ankle) to be evaluated over next two days
Sam LaPorta (ankle) will be evaluated over the next two days to determine his status for Week 4.
Fantasy Impact
LaPorta is currently dealing with an ankle injury that has left him sidelined from practice all week so far. His status for Week 4 is up in the air right now, but the team plans to evaluate his health today and tomorrow to see if he’ll be well enough to play on Sunday. Fantasy managers should keep close tabs on updates about his health coming out of Detroit.

DeVonta Smith (concussion) a long-shot to play Week 4
DeVonta Smith (concussion) is considered a long-shot to play in Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact
Smith seems to be unlikely to play in Week 4. He is currently in the NFL’s concussion protocols after taking a hard hit to the head last week, and he hasn’t been at practice at all so far this week. It looks like he will miss Sunday’s game, and with A.J. Brown (hamstring) also unlikely to play, Dallas Goedert and Jahan Dotson will both be primed to get more work on Philadelphia’s offense.
