Jordan Love (knee) to avoid IR
Packers QB Jordan Love (knee) is not going to be placed on IR.

Fantasy Impact

Love has not yet been ruled out to play in Week 2, but the expectation is that Malik Willis will draw the start. The team is hopeful that Love will be able to suit up in Week 3 and want to avoid ruling him out for four games by placing him on IR.

Marquise Brown (shoulder) ‘getting close’ to return
Kansas City Chiefs WR Marquise Brown is “getting close” to a return and “feeling better,” says head coach Andy Reid.

Fantasy Impact

Brown is recovering from a sternoclavicular joint dislocation which he suffered in K.C.’s preseason debut on Aug. 10. A month later, he could be eyeing a return; Tyreek Hill suffered a similar injury in 2019 and returned after four weeks, though he may have hit the low end on his recovery timeline. If Brown can return in Week 2, he will have an immediate role in an offense that looked strong on Thursday night. His practice report should be monitored this week (three DNPs ahead of Week 1).

De’Von Achane (ankle) listed as non-participant Monday
De’Von Achane (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Miami’s estimated practice report on Monday.

Fantasy Impact

Achane seemingly suffered some kind of a leg injury towards the end of Miami’s win over the Jaguars on Sunday, and that is now confirmed. He was listed as a non-participant on Miami’s estimated injury report, and it’s unclear if he’s going to be well enough to play on Thursday night. With Raheem Mostert (chest) also on the injury report, we could see rookie Jaylen Wright make his debut in a primetime game against the Bills.
