Christian McCaffrey (calf/Achilles) listed as questionable for Week 1
The 49ers have listed Christian McCaffrey as questionable for Monday’s game against the Jets.
Fantasy Impact
McCaffrey was limited in practice all week. It would seem that he is on track to be able to play, but fantasy managers will want to monitor his status as close as they can. Jordan Mason would be next up behind McCaffrey.

Jordan Love to miss time with MCL sprain, but avoids ACL damage
An MRI Saturday revealed Jordan Love suffered an MCL sprain in Friday night’s loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. He is expected to miss some time, but there is no ACL damage, and the injury is not one that will end his season.
Fantasy Impact
The timeline for Love’s return is TBD, but this is good news considering the potential worst-case scenarios that would have resulted in him missing the entire season. For now, consider him week-to-week while we await updates. While Love is out, Malik Willis, who the Packers acquired just a couple of weeks ago, is expected to start at QB. Sean Clifford is currently on the practice squad and is likely to be elevated, though Green Bay could look outside of the organization for reinforcements. This is an obvious downgrade for WRs Jayden Reed, Christian Watson, Dontayvion Wicks, and Romeo Doubs, who were already facing questions related to opportunities given the crowded WR room. Reed had a big Week 1 with 4 catches for 138 yards and a TD to go with a 33-yard TD run.

CeeDee Lamb activated from exempt list, will play Sunday
CeeDee Lamb has been activated from the exempt list and will play at the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact
After holding out for the entire preseason, Lamb will officially rejoin his team for the first game of the regular season. Lamb is a locked and loaded high-end WR1 and will look to continue to be the focal point of the Cowboys’ offense throughout the entirety of the 2024 season.
