De’Von Achane (ankle) to be game-time decision Thursday
De’Von Achane (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Fantasy Impact
Achane suffered an ankle injury on Sunday that will leave him questionable prior to Thursday night’s game. It’s unclear if he’s trending in one direction or the other, and the team expects a decision about his availability to come closer to kickoff. The Dolphins will already be missing Raheem Mostert (chest), so we could see a lot of Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright in the team’s divisional matchup.

Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) feels like a ‘long-shot’ for Week 2
Christian McCaffrey (Achilles) feels like a ‘long-shot’ to play in Week 2, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport.
Fantasy Impact
McCaffrey was surprisingly held out of the team’s season opener because of a lingering Achilles injury, and it looks like he may miss San Francisco’s next game as well. He’s reportedly day-to-day for the time being, but it seems to be a lingering issue that may take real time to fully heal. This is a devastating blow for fantasy managers if it turns out to be true, but it would once again propel Jordan Mason into the RB2 range for the week.

Raheem Mostert (chest) ruled out for Week 2
Raheem Mostert (chest) has been ruled out for Miami’s matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night.
Fantasy Impact
Mostert will not play in Week 2 after suffering a chest injury during Miami’s season opener on Sunday. The severity of the injury remains unclear right now, and it’s possible that he will miss more time beyond this game. De’Von Achane (ankle) is also questionable to play, so the Dolphins could be relying heavily on Jeff Wilson Jr. and rookie Jaylen Wright in their matchup against the Bills.
