4 Fantasy Football Burning Questions for Week 4 (2024)

We had another week of injuries and underperforming early-round players. It’s getting complicated for some of our fantasy rosters.

Let’s answer some fantasy football burning questions you have for NFL Week 4.

Week 4 Fantasy Football Burning Questions

Is Christian McCaffrey droppable?

That is a loaded question. We have no clue what is exactly wrong with Christian McCaffrey, nor do we know when he could return. One thing we do know is it’s not good if you have to travel to another country for medical advice.

When he is on the field, he is one of the best players in the league, but will he be available in 2024?

Unless you have no choice, you need an injured reserve (IR) spot. If you have no one else you can drop you could let McCaffrey go. Otherwise, you have to hold.

Are we ever going to find a suitable tight end?

Last year, we never sweated the tight end position, as we had many suitable players. However, this year seems like a one-and-done situation, as we are struggling at the position again.

At this moment, Dallas Goedert, Brock Bowers and Cole Kmet are the top three players — just as we drew it up.

Sam LaPorta is the TE18, Travis Kelce is the TE22 and Mark Andrews is the TE28. The problem is you spent a premium on these guys and likely punted on the position for the rest of your draft. There are some promising performances from last week, including Tyler Conklin, Noah Fant, Cade Otton and Mike Gesicki.

You should probably target someone you see getting consistent targets and production, but you also hope your top-tier guy turns it around.

LaPorta might be the only one to be confident in, as he’s been a full participant in practice this week and should be a full go.

Did we see the peak of Jayden Daniels?

Not even close. Many thought Jayden Daniels was the best quarterback in this draft, and they are looking good at the moment.

The key component when looking for a fantasy quarterback is rushing upside. Daniels is quickly getting into Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson territory, where he will score points on the ground.

Three of his next four matchups are in the bottom 10 in points per game against the quarterback. Secondly, Washington’s defense is terrible, so Daniels will always need to get points on the team’s board.

Who will be better for the rest of the season: Roschon Johnson or Bucky Irving?

Rachaad White had a better-than-expected 2023 season and didn’t give up the No. 1 RB spot in Tampa Bay.

The tide could be turning as Bucky Irving out-rushed him last week. We should see him cut into White’s snaps this week.

D’Andre Swift has been awful this year and the Bears need to invigorate some life into this team. Roschon Johnson will get more touches, but it doesn’t mean he’ll take over. Second, the offensive line is terrible at both pass and run blocking.

If you have a choice, go with Irving.
