Another weekend of NFL football has arrived! Unfortunately, the injury watch for fantasy football managers is also here, and that’s certainly the case for Davante Adams. Players who appear on the injury report and haven’t practiced much during the week can often lead to trepidation for managers trying to make fantasy football lineup decisions and/or waiver claims. Don’t fret, though – FantasyPros is here to provide you with all of the latest news and updates on the players who are questionable heading into this week. So, will Davante Adams play in Week 4? Here’s what we know about Davante Adams‘s injury and his status for Week 4. And use our Are They Playing tool to see the probability of any injured player playing this week, including Davante Adams.

Fantasy Football Outlook: Will Davante Adams Play Week 4?

Fantasy Impact

Adams was a late add to the injury report, popping up with a hamstring issue on Thursday, and was subsequently ruled out Friday. With Adams out, tight end Brock Bowers will likely see significant volume in Week 4 as the best available pass catcher on the Raiders’ squad. Although Bowers is in the TE1 conversation weekly, he could have an even higher chance to finish as the top tight end in fantasy this week.

Davante Adams (hamstring) was added to Las Vegas’ injury report and was limited at practice on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

Adams is a new addition to the Raiders’ injury report, being listed with a hamstring injury that left him limited at practice on Thursday. We don’t know much about the severity of this issue, but we should get a better idea when we get his official Week 4 game status following Friday’s practice. Fantasy managers should pay attention to all news coming out of Las Vegas about the veteran’s availability.

What the Experts Are Saying

Adams is the WR17 in fantasy, soaking up a 23.4% target share, a 40% air-yard share, and a 34.8% first-read share with 1.85 YPRR. Adams didn’t get force-fed volume last week. Minshew looked to other targets, but he was afraid to challenge Jaycee Horn when Adams was lined up against him. Adams only saw one target from Minshew when he was lined up opposite Horn (21 routes). I’m curious what Minshew will do this week with Adams tangling with Denzel Ward (38.9% catch rate and 55.1 passer rating) and Martin Emerson Jr. (64.7% catch rate and 125.9 passer rating) on about 72% of his routes. The Browns have the highest single high rate in the NFL (74.5%). Adams has been the team’s go-to against single-high with a 37% target share, a 48.1% air-yard share, and a 45.9% first-read share. He’s a volume-dependent WR2 this week if Minshew will test their corners.
