Deep Rosters

At Renegade Fantasy, each team will draft a total of 25 players. In a 12-team league, this means 300 players will be rostered. This is much larger than a standard league and will require fantasy managers to dig a little deeper in order to hopefully hit on some gems in the later rounds. For those who mostly play in deeper leagues with larger rosters, there may be an experiential advantage to work with.

Large starting lineup

Renegade Fantasy really went renegade with this one: each week, every team will start 20 players. Starting 20 players with a bench of five will be interesting, especially when the byes come around, so the suggestion here is to use five roster spots as flex swing spots that you utilize to address team needs as they arise. The goal here is not to get attached to these players as they will be the first to go when byes or injuries leave you short and said player(s) are unable to fill in.

Real Time Substitutions

The main draw and key differentiator at Renegade Fantasy is the ability to make real-time substitutions. With a bench of just five, rostering the best possible substitutes is going to be a key correlative factor in wins and losses. Nailing your draft is more important than ever at Renegade Fantasy, so be sure to do some mocks via our Draft Simulator before draft day. There is also an in-app mock draft tool for those who are looking to familiarize themselves with the Renegade interface.
