Xavier Legette listed as backup on depth chart
Xavier Legette is listed as a backup on Carolina’s unofficial depth chart.

Fantasy Impact

The Panthers recently released their unofficial depth chart ahead of their first preseason game against the Patriots this week, and it included Legette in the backup wide receiver slot. His role is subject to change over the rest of the preseason, but his momentum to claim a starting spot may be hindered by the foot injury that he’s currently dealing with.

Zack Moss listed as starting RB on Bengals’ initial depth chart
The Bengals listed Zack Moss as their starting running back on the initial depth chart.

Fantasy Impact

This is expected to be some sort of committee between Moss and Chase Brown. Moss figures to work the early downs and goal line work with Brown mixing in on the third downs and passing down work. Joe Mixon led the NFL in carries inside the 10-yard line last season, a role that Moss figures to step into this year in the Bengals backfield.

Bryce Young may not play in any preseason games
Panthers QB Bryce Young may not play in any preseason games, per head coach Dave Canales.

Fantasy Impact

Canales is still debating on if Young will play, but it appears he may choose to hold the second-year quarterback out of any preseason action. Andy Dalton would likely draw the starts in preseason action if Young does sit out.
