Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy said Rico Dowdle will get fewer special teams snaps this season because of his expected increased work load on offense.

This interestingly comes just days after Rams coach Sean McVay said Kyren Williams is expected to be see punt returns this season. It remains unclear how the Cowboys backfield will pan out this season, but it is possible Dowdle, Ezekiel Elliott and Dalvin Cook are all involved in some fashion.
