Justin Jefferson being ‘cautious’ with his hamstring
Justin Jefferson and the Vikings will be “overly cautious” with Jefferson’s hamstring that he injured last season as they ramp up activities for 2024. He and the team are taking “significant steps” to avoid any sort of reinjury.

Fantasy Impact

Jefferson missed seven games last season after tearing his right hamstring during week 5 of 2023. The Vikings’ passing attack wasn’t the same without their star wideout, and certainly won’t be the same in 2024 should he miss time with TJ Hockenson already slated to miss a large chunk of the season. Jefferson is one of the most talented players in football, and though reinjury is a concern, it should not discourage fantasy players from drafting him.

Jalen McMillan the early front-runner to be WR3 in Tampa Bay
Buccaneers beat reporter Greg Auman said he believes Jalen McMillan has done “everything he could to assert himself as WR3” so far in training camp.

Fantasy Impact

As Auman also suggested, we’re still five weeks away from the season so a lot can change, but McMillan has drawn a lot of early praise in training camp. The rookie wide receiver out of Washington could be a deep sleeper to take a flier on super late, especially in 3-WR leagues.

Justice Hill will ‘play a lot,’ says Harbaugh
Baltimore Ravens RB Justice Hill will “play a lot,” and has “become a starting running back in the National Football League,” said coach John Harbaugh after practice Thursday.

Fantasy Impact

This is an interesting development as the Ravens just acquired four-time Pro Bowl RB Derrick Henry this offseason. Expect to see Hill eat into a lot of Henry’s snaps this year.
