Jacoby Brissett remains in competition with Drake Maye for starting job
Patriots coach Jerod Mayo reiterated Friday that the quarterback competition continues between Jacoby Brissett and Drake Maye.
Fantasy Impact
Brissett and Maye both largely struggled in the Patriots preseason game against the Eagles on Thursday. “We have three more days of training camp practices, and it’s our job as coaches to evaluate,” Mayo told reporters on Friday. “The competition isn’t over. They’re still going to go out there, and they have to show not only themselves and their coaches but also their teammates.
