The Patriots are reportedly no longer interested in pursuing a trade for Brandon Aiyuk.

New England was considered the favorite at one point on Monday, but they are now out of the race. Ja’Lynn Polk, Javon Baker and DeMario Douglas will lead the wide receiver room for the Patriots. The Browns and Steelers remain reportedly interested in Aiyuk.

The Steelers recently released their unofficial depth chart, and it featured Wilson in the QB1 spot. This has been the expectation over the course of the offseason so far, but it’s worth noting that Justin Field has been gaining a lot of momentum at training camp recently. For the time being, this is the 35-year old’s job to lose, and it looks like he’s trending towards being the starter for this team in Week 1.
