Jayden Daniels listed as starter, has ‘surpassed expectations’
Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels is listed as the team’s starting QB on the first unofficial depth chart. Daniels had high expectations coming into camp, “but he has surpassed those,” said HC Dan Quinn.

Fantasy Impact

It comes to no surprise that the team’s decision is to start the No. 2 overall pick out of LSU, but the notable buzz here is how he has more than impressed everyone thus far at training camp. He will play in his first preseason game this Saturday against the Jets.

Josh Collier

Brandon Aiyuk given permission to negotiate with teams
Brandon Aiyuk has been given permission to negotiate with other teams as the 49ers are now openly listening to trade offers for their young star wideout.

Fantasy Impact

Aiyuk has been the source of trade rumors for months now, and it looks increasingly likely that he will not be a 49er by the season opener. If he is moved, it will take him some time to ramp up to the new offense and build a rapport with his new QB. Where he goes will impact his fantasy ADP for better or worse, as both the Browns and Patriots are seen as suitors and represent very different opportunities for Aiyuk. Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, and guys like Ricky Pearsall and Jauan Jennings will see a boost in ADP as well.

Courtland Sutton drawing connection with Bo Nix
Courtland Sutton is reportedly growing a connection with rookie QB Bo Nix early in training camp.

Fantasy Impact

Nix hit Sutton twice on deep routes during the last team period at practice on Monday. Sutton figures to remain the No. 1 wide receiver in Denver this year and he is going very late in fantasy drafts.
