Zay Flowers looking to build on rookie campaign
Zay Flowers is heading into his second season in the NFL as he looks to build on his rookie year.

Fantasy Impact

Flowers finished his rookie season hauling in 77 passes for 858 yards and five touchdowns. He continued his success into the playoffs last year where he caught five passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in the AFC Championship loss against the Chiefs. Flowers is in the high-end WR3 range in fantasy drafts with WR2 upside if he can improve his consistency on a week-to-week basis.

Ari Koslow

DK Metcalf connecting well with Geno Smith in camp
Even though DK Metcalf isn’t playing in any preseason games, all reports from training camp are that he and QB Geno Smith are already in regular-season form.

Fantasy Impact

The 26-year-old wideout racked up 66 catches for 1,114 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023. The outlook for Metcalf remains about the same, and he is the 19th WR coming off draft boards.

Dameon Pierce could be a potential trade target
As the deadline approaches for teams to trim down to their 53-man rosters, some players who are too good to cut may be getting traded prior to Tuesday. Dameon Pierce could be one of those players, as he was out-shined by Devin Singletary last season in the Texans’ zone-blocking system. Joe Mixon has returned to practice for Houston and Cam Akers has impressed, making Pierce’s roster spot even less solidified.

Fantasy Impact

After rushing for 939 yards and four touchdowns just two years ago, Pierce could be an enticing trade target for any team looking for a workhorse back. A team such as the Cowboys could make a move for him.
