Derrick Henry to sit out preseason matchups
Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry, a prize free agent acquisition, will not play in the 2024 NFL preseason.

Fantasy Impact

With Henry sitting out of the preseason action, the public’s first glimpse of the “King” in purple and black will be in Week 1 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. The former Tennessee Titans RB is set to have a huge role in 2024 after a down season in Nashville, Tenn., where he still ran for 1,167 yards and 12 touchdowns. With RBs Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins in L.A., Henry (half-PPR ADP RB9) is set to have a potentially strong season on a potent offense.

Russell Wilson remains Steelers QB1 in competition
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Russell Wilson remains the Steelers QB1 in competition.

Fantasy Impact

“You guys saw the depth chart that I released yesterday,” Tomlin said. “That is real.” There were positive reports around Justin Fields early in training camp with Wilson sidelined. It still seems likely that Wilson opens the season as the starter, but Fields should have his chance to prove himself throughout the preseason.
