Dak Prescott says contract extension doesn’t need to be done before Week 1
Dak Prescott told reporters he does not feel his contract extension needs to be done ahead of Week 1.

Prescott added, “I think it says a lot if it is or if it isn’t (done by then).” The Cowboys were able to extend CeeDee Lamb, while Prescott and Micah Parsons continue to seek extensions as well. This will remain a situation to monitor, but it appears Prescot will play regardless.

Brandon Aiyuk agrees to extension with 49ers
The 49ers and star WR Brandon Aiyuk have come to terms on a four-year contract extension worth up to $120 million. This deal includes $76 million guaranteed and is set to keep Aiyuk in San Francisco through the 2028 season.

Deshaun Watson restructured his contract with the Browns.

Watson is now set to make $27,942,678 against the cap in 2024, $72,935,000 in 2025 and $72,935,000 in 2026. He will be looking to bounce back this year for Cleveland coming off a shoulder injury.
