Fantasy Football Values: Patrick Mahomes, Zamir White, Tyjae Spears (2024)

The 2024 NFL preseason is wrapping up, meaning there will be an uptick in fantasy football drafts this upcoming weekend. Many factors go into fantasy players winning their redraft league. However, the top factor is drafting players at a value.

Let’s look at some of my favorite fantasy football draft values based on Sleeper ADP for redraft leagues.

Fantasy Football Draft Values: Sleeper Leagues

Patrick Mahomes (QB – KC)

  • Sleeper ADP – 33.1 | QB3

I’m a fan of waiting on drafting a quarterback in a 1QB league this year, with several excellent late-round options available for fantasy players. However, anyone who wants to use an early-round pick on a quarterback should target Mahomes. Last year, he had the worst fantasy season of his career, averaging fewer than 20.5 fantasy points per game for the first time as the starting quarterback. Yet, Mahomes is a bargain as the third quarterback in ADP after the Chiefs added Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy this offseason.

Zamir White (RB – LV)

  • Sleeper ADP – 75.2 | RB24

During the four weeks Josh Jacobs missed with an injury last season, White was the RB8, averaging 14.1 half-PPR fantasy points per game. He had the fourth-highest yards after contact per rushing attempt (3.06) among running backs with at least 30 attempts during those four weeks, ahead of Christian McCaffrey and Jahmyr Gibbs (per Fantasy Points Data). More importantly, White had 20 or more touches in every contest, totaling 100 or more scrimmage yards in all but one game. He is one of my must-have running back draft targets.

Tyjae Spears (RB – TEN)

  • Sleeper ADP – 109.2 | RB37

Many had high hopes for Spears before the Titans signed Tony Pollard. However, the coaching staff has raved about how Spears and Pollard are interchangeable co-starters. Spears had the fifth-best explosive run rate (7%) and the ninth-best yards after contact per rushing attempt average (2.92) among running backs with at least 100 attempts last season (per Fantasy Points Data). Furthermore, he averaged 10.1 half-PPR fantasy points per game in the six contests with at least seven rushing attempts as a rookie. Spears could be a massive steal.
