It’s that time of year again! Fantasy Football is upon us. Preseason games have started, and fantasy drafts are right around the corner. At FantasyPros, we’re committed to helping you crush your draft. Consensus rankings are a good start, but what do you do when it’s the 14th round of the draft and you’re staring down a list of a dozen running backs you might not even recognize? That’s where our sleeper rankings come in.
Sleeper rankings are pretty straightforward: we ask each expert to pick a number of low-ranked players at each position to be their sleepers. The criteria are:
- 2 Quarterbacks outside the top 15 (according to our Expert Consensus Rankings)
- 4 Running Backs outside the top 45
- 4 Wide Receivers outside the top 55
- 2 Tight Ends outside the top 15
- 1 Team Defense outside the top 10
Then, we aggregate the most-picked players into sleeper rankings. For more detail, check out our full sleeper accuracy methodology.

And the winner is Jorge B. Edwards from Fantasy In Frames! Jorge earned the distinction of being the #1 expert for wide receiver picks, being the only one to hit on all 4 of his WRs: Tank Dell, Puka Nacua, Romeo Doubs and Adam Thielen. We all know what a stud Nacua turned out to be last year – Jorge was one of just 9 experts (out of 90) to see it coming.
Second place goes to Mick Ciallela from Fantrax! Mick was the most accurate expert for the most important position – running back, with all four of his picks giving great value in the late rounds: Raheem Mostert, Jalen Warren, Ezekiel Elliott and De’Von Achane. The Bronze medal goes to FantasyPros‘ own Bo McBrayer, who reached the top 5 for both WR and TE – he was one of only 3 experts to rank in the top 5 for multiple positions.
