Tyreek Hill restructures contract with the Dolphins
Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins reached agreement on a restructured contract worth $90 million over the next three years that includes $65 million guaranteed.

Fantasy Impact

This agreement brings the four-year total of fully guaranteed money to $106.5 million, the most ever for any receiver. Hill remains one of the top wide receivers in the NFL and should be one of the first players taken off the board in all fantasy drafts.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. favored to be Giants’ RB2
Giants rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. appears to have the early edge over Eric Gray and Dante Miller in the training-camp battle to be the primary backup to Devin Singletary.

Fantasy Impact

Tracy entered college as a wide receiver before he moved to running back. “Wherever they use me, I’m going to try to do it to the best of my ability,” Tracy said. “But with all the short-yardage stuff – whether that’s a hitch or backs [coming] out of the backfield – I think that’s a little to my advantage because of my background.” Singletary will open the season as the lead back, but Tracy could be a player to take a flier on in the last round of fantasy drafts or at least is someone to monitor on the waiver wire early in the season.

Ja’Tavion Sanders showing ‘exponential growth’ in camp
Panthers coach Dave Canales said he’s seen “exponential growth” from Ja’Tavion Sanders in training camp.

Fantasy Impact

Sanders was selected with the No. 101 overall pick in the NFL Draft back in April. With both Tommy Tremble and Ian Thomas banged up throughout camp, Sanders has seemingly been able to take advantage of the opportunity. It is unclear if he’ll have a big enough role to be fantasy relevant right away, but he will be a player to keep an eye on at the very least.

Jayden Daniels to play in first preseason game vs. Jets
Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will play in the team’s first preseason game against the New York Jets, says HC Dan Quinn.

Fantasy Impact

The 2024 number two overall pick will take the field in a Commanders uniform for the first time this Saturday. He’s received high praise throughout all of training camp, and this weekend we’ll get to see how he fairs against a tough Jets defense.
