Kendre Miller is expected to begin season on IR
New Orleans Saints RB Kendre Miller is expected to begin the 2024 season on injured reserve as he recovers from a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact

Miller has dealt with soft tissue injuries since entering the NFL, and he could use time to recover from it. Head coach Dennis Allen has been vocal about Miller’s continued absence from the field, and if he can get healthy, he can finally be at his full potential to prove he has a place on the roster, though it seems like patience is running thin in New Orleans.

Jelani Woods (toe) placed on IR, out for the season
The Colts officially placed Jelani Woods on injured reserve and will not be designated to return.

Fantasy Impact

This was the expectation and it is now official due to turf toe for Woods. He will look to make a full recovery for next season.

Tyler Higbee (knee) to open season on PUP, miss four games
The Rams are leaving Tyler Higbee on the PUP list, causing him to miss the first four games of the season.

Fantasy Impact

Higbee was unlikely to be healthy for the start of the season. Colby Parkinson is likely going to take over the lead role at tight end for the Rams in his absence. He is a potential early season streamer for fantasy managers in favorable matchups.
