Rashid Shaheed (toe/foot) won’t be sidelined for an extended period of time.
Fantasy Impact
Shaheed’s toe/foot injury has raised some concerns about his availability, but HC Dennis Allen has eased those concerns when he told reporters that the veteran receiver isn’t expected to miss extended time. It remains to be seen when he will be back in the lineup, but he still has a bit of time to recover before New Orleans’ season opener.

Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) made his return to practice on Wednesday.
Fantasy Impact
Mitchell has been out of practice for over two weeks because of a hamstring injury, but he was able to make his return to San Francisco’s practice on Wednesday. He will have a chance at the RB2 spot on this roster barring further injury, but it is worth noting that it looks like Jordan Mason is the leading candidate for that role as of now.

A hip injury briefly left Mason sidelined from practice, but it was a minor issue and he has already returned to practice for the 49ers. He has the inside edge for the RB2 spot on this team as of now, but it remains to be seen if he will be able to secure that job in the last week of preseason football.
