Odell Beckham Jr. status unclear for start of season
Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said Odell Beckham Jr.s status to start the regular season is still to be determined.

Fantasy Impact

The latest update on Beckham in the middle of August was that he had not began running routes. He’ll likely be the No. 3 wide receiver in Miami when he is healthy.

Jonathon Brooks (knee) remains on NFI list
Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks (knee) will remain on the NFI list to open the season.

Fantasy Impact

Brooks suffered a torn ACL last November, so the move here is not a surprise. He is ineligible to play in the first four games of the season. Chubba Hubbard and Miles Sanders should see the bulk of the carries in his absence.

T.J. Hockenson (knee) to remain on PUP list
Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson (knee) will open the season on the Physically Unable to Perform List.

Fantasy Impact

Hockenson will now be ineligible to play in the first four games of the season. The star TE continues to work his way back from a torn ACL he suffered during the 2023 season. Josh Oliver and Johnny Mundt should see additional snaps while Hockenson is sidelined.
