J.J. McCarthy torn meniscus, will undergo surgery
Minnesota Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy is expected to undergo knee surgery and will be sidelined indefinitely. He had been experiencing knee soreness over the weekend, and an MRI on Monday confirmed a torn meniscus in his right knee.
Fantasy Impact
The Vikings selected McCarthy out of Michigan with the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Tough blow for the team and their presumptive future franchise quarterback, and it seems QB Sam Darnold may end up starting the entire 2024 season.
