Live Fantasy Football Discord AMA with Pat Fitzmaurice
Pat Fitzmaurice: Hey @everyone. Live chat starting now in the Pat Fitzmaurice AMA channel. See you there!
deathwish: Is it better to keep Jake Ferguson and give up a 16th-round pick or Rhamondre Stevenson and give up an 8th? PPR League (Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 DEF, 1 K)
Pat Fitzmaurice: Close call, deathwish. I have about a 3-round gap between them. Lean slightly toward keeping Rhamondre due to RB scarcity and TE depth (which is rare, but here we are).
KJsmoothOD: In a vacuum, would you rather have Saquan Barkley or Marvin Harrison Jr. for a full PPR double flex league (not Superflex)?
Pat Fitzmaurice: I have Saquon ranked slightly higher, and that’s for leagues where you have to start 3 WRs. If you only have to start two WRs, the gap would widen. And look, I LOVE MHJ and just took him at 2.08 in a redraft league today. I also have some reservations about Saquon, but I DO like the thought of him running behind what should be one of the best O-lines in the league even without Kelce.
Salmon_wellDone#0: Need help deciding which two players to keep in PPR league. Lose the round they were drafted: Bijan Robinson – rd 1, A.J. Brown – rd 2, Deebo Samuel – rd 4, Kyren Williams – rd 18, Amari Cooper – rd 3, David Montgomery – rd 7
Pat Fitzmaurice: Well, Kyren for sure. Do you have to start 2 WRs or 3? If only 2, I might be inclined to keep Bijan and Kyren. If you need to start 3 WRs, I’d probably keep AJ Brown and Kyren.
playmakersmusic: I’m in a 12-man keeper league. These are the keepers: Justin Jefferson, Garrett, Wilson, Ja’Marr Chase, Nico Collins, Anthony Richardson, Calvin Ridley, Kyren Williams, Michael Pittman, Puka Nacua, Ceedee Lamb, Drake London, and Sam LaPorta. I’m keeping Nico Collins in the 9th round. I’m trying to figure out who I should take in the 1st round: an RB or a WR. I know McCaffrey, Brown, St. Brown, Breece, Robinson, and Hill will be gone. Who should I take at 7?
Pat Fitzmaurice: Jonathan Taylor would be the BPA on my draft board, playmakersmusic. I think he’s going to have a BIG season if he and Richardson both stay reasonably healthy. I could see him putting up the sort of numbers he piosted in 2021. Plus I think it makes some sense for you to grab what might be the last high-volume RB available.
