Fantasy Baseball Closer Report: Justin Martinez, Lucas Erceg, Ben Joyce (2024)

Welcome back to the latest edition of the “Closer Report.” We’re back with another week of talking closers. We’re seeing some new relievers emerge and earn closer roles with some of the bottom teams in the MLB. News & Notes

Ryan Helsley and Emmanuel Clase are tied for the MLB-high with 37 saves. Kyle Finnegan follows with 30 saves.

Justin Martinez, Lucas Erceg, Ben Joyce and Victor Vodnik have all emerged in the lead closer role in their respective bullpens. They all remain risky for now not having the clear closer role locked in, but remain worth monitoring over the next week.

Craig Kimbrel is out of the closer role in the Orioles bullpen. It is a committee between Yennier Cano and Seranthony Dominguez for now.

Ryan Walker remains the closer in the Giants bullpen with Camilo Doval in Triple-A despite not recording a save since last Saturday.
