One of the best ways to improve your roster in dynasty leagues is to buy when someone’s value is at its lowest. This requires a lot of speculation on your part about where you see a player’s future value heading. Everyone loves buying players before they explode, so here are some guys I like right now due to their current value and what I think they should be worth in dynasty leagues.

Dynasty Trade Advice: Buy-Low Candidates in 2024
Antonio Gibson (RB – NE)
Most dynasty managers are fed up with Gibson and ready to abandon ship if they haven’t already. Trust me, I get it. But I’m always a fan of every player at the right price, and for me, Gibson’s current ECR of RB49 is the right price. Rhamondre Stevenson is the clear starter, but with how bad the Patriots are, how long can Stevenson carry the team by himself? I am fully predicting that Gibson gets more carries than people expect and could be flex-worthy during some bye weeks, which makes him worth adding at his cost.
Zay Flowers (WR – BAL)
2023 wasn’t a stellar year for Flowers, finishing as WR31 overall in PPR scoring. He played in 16 games and got 77 catches on 108 targets, but the chaos on that offense sandbagged his fantasy production. With Mark Andrews coming back and the addition of Derrick Henry at running back, I think this offense opens up for Flowers down the field. He should see fewer double-teams this year. As long as he stays healthy, I think he can outperform his current ECR of WR21. In a year, he should be valued closer to Jaylen Waddle and DeVonta Smith, so buy now before his value jumps.
Mike Evans (WR – TB)
I know what you’re thinking already: Evans is old. He sure is, but he also finished as WR7 in PPR scoring last season while once again breaking 1,000 yards on the season. His dynasty ECR of WR33 is largely due to him turning 31 before the season starts. Dynasty managers love young players and tend to avoid older ones. I get that, but I’m fine buying the dip on Evans if I can contend this year. I think he will put up another top-20 WR season this year, so even if you’re not contending, you can trade him to someone who is during the season when they want to get some of those points for themselves. That’s a win-win for me.
