Dynasty Trade Advice: Bryce Young, Javonte Williams, Brian Robinson (Fantasy Football)

One of the best ways to improve your roster in dynasty leagues is to buy when someone’s value is at its lowest. This requires a lot of speculation on your part about where you see a player’s future value heading. Everyone loves buying players before they explode, so here are some guys I like right now due to their current value and what I think they should be worth in dynasty leagues.

Dynasty Trade Advice: Buy-Low Candidates in 2024

Bryce Young (QB – CAR)

Quarterbacks are a tricky one to evaluate in dynasty leagues. This is largely due to the two main options for leagues where you either start a single QB or you have the option to start a second one. Young’s dynasty Expert Consensus Rankings (ECR) of QB21 makes him a prime target for me regardless of the format though.

Young finished as QB23 last year, so this ranking makes sense to me. He wasn’t stellar, but Young’s stats make me think he can only improve. He was 20th in passing yards and 11th in rushing yards among quarterbacks. Now that they’ve added Diontae Johnson and rookie Xavier Legette, I think he’ll have a much better 2024. If that’s the case, Young’s price is going to go up, so buy now before that happens.

Javonte Williams (RB – DEN)

Contrary to popular belief, Williams is still the starter for the Broncos heading into the 2024 season. A lot of people are looking at rookie Audric Estime and last year’s surprise Jaleel McLaughlin as potential starters, but it’s still Williams’ job to lose. He’s currently ranked at RB25 in dynasty ECR, making him a very cheap option to add to your roster while other managers are distracted elsewhere.

Brian Robinson (RB – WAS)

Just behind Williams in ECR is Robinson at RB28. The Commanders added veteran RB Austin Ekeler who should be the starter, but Robinson should get his fair share of touches as well. Due to Ekeler’s age, he’s cheaper than Robinson, but due to Ekeler’s output for fantasy, he’s getting more attention. Robinson finished as RB21 overall last year in PPR and I wouldn’t be shocked if he finishes around there this year. Go grab him now before others in your league catch on.
