Quarterback Sleepers: Jared Goff, Jayden Daniels, Trevor Lawrence (2024 Fantasy Football)

Quarterback is the most critical position on the field. If you pick the correct quarterback for fantasy football, you have a leg up on your competition. We all know about the Josh Allens and Jalen Hurts of the world, but who can sneak into the scene and become a top quarterback to help elevate our fantasy team?

Let’s break down some QB2s in our fantasy football draft rankings and help explain how they can be the golden ticket to help you win your league in 2024. Here are fantasy football draft sleepers to target at the quarterback position.

Fantasy Football Quarterback Sleepers & Draft Targets

Jared Goff (QB – DET)

Jared Goff is on this list because he missed the top five last season. He finished as the QB7. He has averaged 265.1 passing yards with 1.7 touchdowns over the previous two seasons. Goff also faces the seventh-easiest strength of schedule this year from the quarterback position. Finally, Goff starts the season with seven straight dome games and 14 dome games overall. Anyone who can eliminate the elements from their 2024 schedule gets an automatic leg up on their competition every week.

Last season, Jared Goff threw for the second-most yards in the NFL and the fourth-most touchdowns. Goff also produced the ninth-highest quarterback rating. He had an issue with accuracy, as he ranked 21st in catchable throw percentage, which is why he is so low in our expert consensus rankings (ECR). However, if any quarterback were to leap into the top five it would be a quarterback on a solid offense with an easy schedule like Goff.

Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS)

Konami quarterbacks can elevate their fantasy floors with just their legs. Any passing stats we receive on top of that will become a bonus. Remember the year before his first MVP season when Lamar Jackson had average passing stats but still gave us 15+ fantasy points just because of his legs? We are staring down the barrel of that fantasy floor for Jayden Daniels.

Remember that Daniels brings a sound fundamental game, and his throws genuinely stem from the ground up. With Daniels receiving the key to the Washington car and weapons such as Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, Luke McCaffrey, Austin Ekeler, Brian Robinson and Ben Sinnott, Daniels can jumpstart his career.

Trevor Lawrence (QB – JAX)

Trevor Lawrence is disrespected with his ranking of 17th overall. From Week 11 last season, Lawrence was QB7 in fantasy points per game (PPG). He averaged 270.9 yards and 1.7 touchdowns. Now they have granted him flashy, fast rookie Brian Thomas Jr. and deep ball extraordinaire Gabe Davis. He still has Evan Engram and Travis Etienne while receiving a healthy Christian Kirk in 2024. He also creates some fantasy points on the ground.

Lawrence has a plethora of weapons to help elevate him back to the form he was in towards the end of 2023. If Lawrence is consistent, we could have a league-winning quarterback in Jacksonville.
