2024 Paris Olympics Golf DFS Advice & Picks

It wasn’t a great week at the 3M Open. Luckily, we get to play PGA DFS for the Olympic Games in Paris. Instead of prize money, the international collection of golfers will battle for medals. National valor adds a notion of heightened importance to Olympic golf.

The Olympic field is limited to 60 players, who will play 72 holes with no cut. Building DFS lineups for this unique format is sure to have more duplicate or overlapping lineups, but leverage is available at each tier.

Le Golf National is a 7,100-yard par-71 on the outskirts of Paris. It is a positional golf course that will stress accuracy, especially on approach. Strong iron play is a must, so those metrics were heavily weighted in my statistical model. The latest word from practice seems to indicate shorter, more manageable rough than during the 2018 Ryder Cup at Le Golf National. If this is the case, scoring conditions might be more favorable. An emphasis on opportunities gained and birdie-making is also subsequently required. For as constricted as Olympic DFS is this week, I still found it easy to make lineups that look good on paper. While frolicking under the Arc de Triomphe, let’s dig in.
