Ray-Ray McCloud III ‘firmly’ the starting slot in Atlanta
Atlanta Falcons free agent acquisition WR Ray-Ray McCloud III has been running with the first team and is “firmly” in the starting slot receiver role.
Fantasy Impact
McCloud saw limited moments of success in San Francisco offensively, though he was primarily utilized as a special teamer, particularly as a returner. In two seasons with the 49ers, he never saw over a 28% offensive snap share, but the 27-year-old had 378 receiving yards between his pair of campaigns in the Bay Area and has averaged 259 scrimmage yards per season over the last three years as a part-time player. He can provide base-level slot play while adding as a return specialist in Atlanta.

Drake Maye impressing in camp, hasn’t secured QB1 job
Drake Maye has reportedly been impressing in camp but has not yet earned the starting quarterback role over veteran Jacoby Brissett.
Fantasy Impact
Earlier reports claimed that despite his draft capital, Maye would not automatically earn the starting quarterback job over veteran Jacoby Brissett. Regardless of who earns the starting role, neither Brissett nor Maye will likely have any fantasy relevance in one quarterback leagues.
