Check out the latest news and notes around the NFL.

Dak Prescott not afraid to move on from Dallas
Dak Prescott told the press that he wishes to remain in Dallas but isn’t afraid to move on if needed.

Fantasy Impact

Prescott has been in contract disputes with the Cowboys for some time now and is looking for an extension. He’s scheduled to be a free agent in 2025, with the majority of his remaining contract being tied up in void years. Dallas management has a lot on their plate this summer, with extensions due to Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons. In an offseason the Cowboys claimed to be “all in”, it certainly seems they have dropped the ball on several fronts.

Caleb Williams: Matt Eberflus to decide soon on Hall of Fame game status
Matt Eberflus said he will decide “soon” whether or not Caleb Williams plays in the Hall of Fame game.

Fantasy Impact

We are officially one week away from the Bears and Texans opening up the preseason in the Hall of Fame game. Williams is expected to see plenty of playing time in the preseason whether he plays a lot next week or not.

Courtland Sutton, Broncos reach contract restructure
The Denver Broncos and WR Courtland Sutton have come to terms on a restructured contract, paying him up to $15.2 million in 2024 with $1.5 million in new incentives.

Fantasy Impact

Sutton did not attend voluntary OTAs this offseason, but he did attend minicamp and reported on time to training camp. He did not quite get what he wanted, but the restructure is a temporary bandage on a bigger wound. The two sides can approach 2024 now and work on a new deal later. He had a career-high 10 TDs in 2023 and will be rewarded for it.
