Prescott was spotted in a walking boot last week. It was expected to be a precaution and it appears it was. He should be relatively healthy entering training camp.

Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew are expected to split starter snaps in training camp.

It was reported that O’Connell and Minshew both struggled early in OTAs. The Raiders signed Minshew this offseason, while O’Connell returns after seeing some reps last season under center. This will remain a training camp battle to monitor over the next month and a half.

Cordarrelle Patterson is reportedly likely to have “bigger role than being a specialist.”

Patterson is expected to have a big special teams role with the new return rules. He rushed for 695 yards and eight touchdowns under Arthur Smith last season in Atlanta as well. It is possible he could make the Steelers backfield more messy with Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren also having their roles.
