Kadarius Toney was seen working with the Chiefs running backs at practice on Sunday.

This is an interesting development and could be worth monitoring. It had been rumored earlier in July that Toney could be on the trade block, but it seems unlikely that a trade will happen. It’ll be worth monitoring to see if he continues to practice with the running backs or if it’s just for one day.

Jacoby Brissett is reportedly taking all of the first-team reps early in Patriots training camp.

It is not a huge surprise as Brissett was labeled the starter for New England entering training camp. Drake Maye should also get his chance to prove himself over the next few weeks.

With Houston bringing in Joe Mixon this offseason, Pierce figures to back him up unless he can perform well enough in training camp to make it a 1A/1B situation. It’ll be worth monitoring over the next few weeks, but for now Pierce will likely be the handcuff for fantasy managers with Mixon.
