Must-Have Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups Highlights

Brooks Lee (3B, SS – MIN): Brooks Lee is a hot commodity, available in almost 40% of leagues. At just 23 years old, he’s been impressive since his call-up, going 7-for-15 with a home run and six RBIs in his first four games. With Royce Lewis sidelined due to injury, Lee is getting crucial opportunities and might even shift to second base upon Lewis’s return. His potential to stay in the Majors and contribute makes him a valuable addition to your team.
Colt Keith (2B, 3B, DH – DET): Colt Keith, infielder for the Tigers, is another player you don’t want to miss, especially since he’s available in 50% of leagues. After a rough start to the season, hitting just .154 in April, Keith has turned things around dramatically. From May onwards, he’s been hitting .294 with eight home runs and 27 RBIs. In his last six games, he’s smashed four homers and driven in seven RBIs. Leading all second basemen in batting average since May 1, Keith’s resurgence makes him a must-add for your fantasy roster.
Jameson Taillon (SP – CHC): Pitching can be a game-changer in fantasy baseball, and Jameson Taillon is a prime example. Available in 40% of leagues, Taillon has been in excellent form, with a quality start in five of his last six outings and a 2.99 ERA over 87 innings. His value could rise even further with a strong possibility of being traded to a contender. His road performance, boasting a 3.07 ERA and better WHIP, indicates he can excel in a more pitcher-friendly environment.
