5 Devy Fantasy Football Draft Targets (2024)

With the College Football season quickly approaching, I’m diving into five players across the 2025 and 2026 draft classes I’m targeting in my devy drafts.

Remember, just because you acquire a devy asset does not mean you must hold them until they enter the NFL. There will be opportunities to capitalize on your investment and sell to help your dynasty teams before these players make it to the NFL.

Devy Fantasy Football League Draft Targets (2024)

Ashton Jeanty (RB – Boise State) | 2025 | 5-Foot-9, 210 Pounds

One of my favorite players to watch in all of College Football is Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty. His smaller stature may cause some worry, but he is an absolute stud and is the best dual-threat running back in the nation. He finished 11th in rushing yards and first in receiving yards for a running back, with 19 total TDs.

Per PFF, Jeanty had 62 missed tackles forced rushing the ball and 30 rushes of 10+ yards, showing his ability to make defenders miss and the explosiveness he brings to the table. Currently ranking as my devy RB2, I am all-in on Jeanty for devy leagues and drafting him everywhere possible.

Tez Johnson (WR – Oregon) | 2025 | 5-Foot-10, 160 Pounds

Transferring from Troy to his dream school, Oregon, Tez Johnson burst onto the scene with over 1,100 receiving yards and 10 TDs, putting himself on the radar of many devy managers heading into 2025. An explosive playmaker with elite speed and agility makes him a big play threat on every down.

Route running is the most underrated area of his game, allowing him to play both in the slot and on the outside. This makes him an asset that can fit into any offensive scheme. Now is the time to acquire him before his price spikes once the season is underway.

Arch Manning (QB – Texas) | 2026 | 6-Foot-4, 212 Pounds

Arch Manning has shown us virtually next to nothing from one collegiate season and a couple of spring games, but he remains one of the most value-insulated devy assets in the game. We shouldn’t expect to see much from him again this season, barring an injury or catastrophic performance by Quinn Ewers. Yet his value should remain high due to his name, high school hype and likelihood of being the starter at Texas in 2025.

He’s my biggest draft-and-stash target at this time. Even if you are not sold on Manning as an NFL prospect, he can still bring high value to your devy rosters now and later down the line as a trade chip. He does not have the strongest arm, but accuracy is the strength of his game. While he may not be a Konami code quarterback, he is athletic enough to give you some production on the ground and extend plays. Many have compared him to Joe Burrow.

Ja’Kobi Lane (WR – USC) | 2026 | 6-Foot-4, 180 Pounds

Lane is part of a highly-touted WR room at USC with the likes of Zachariah Branch, Makai Lemon, Duce Robinson and incoming four-star freshman Xavier Johnson, so, naturally, he is flying under the radar. He has a real chance to be the best WR on the team. We didn’t see much from Lane until their bowl game against Louisville, where he posted three receptions for 60 yards and two TDs, showing off his ability to highpoint the football by going up and over two defenders to bring in a touchdown.

Coming into USC as a four-star prospect and ranked as a top-35 WR, he has earned the prestigious No. 8 this season worn by numerous USC greats, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Dwayne Jarrett. You can currently snag Lane in the fourth round or later of your devy drafts.

Nyck Harbor (WR/TE – South Carolina) | 2026 | 6-Foot-5, 241 Pounds

By now, most of us have heard Nyck Harbor’s impressive 100m time of 10.12, which is faster than Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill’s best time of 10.19. An elite athlete of any size, let alone at 6-foot-5, 241 pounds, he is caught in the tweener area, being too big for WR and too small for TE. For me, that is a plus, having immense potential at two different positions.

Given that, paired with his elite speed, size and athleticism, he is one of the most exciting players in College Football. Excitement and massive upside is a recipe for a valuable devy asset.
