News & Notes

Ryan Helsley continues to lead the MLB with 25 saves, followed by Emmanuel Clase (22 saves) and Kyle Finnegan (21 saves).

The Blue Jays placed Yimi Garcia on the 15-day injured list (IL) with right ulnar nerve neuritis. With Jordan Romano also on the injured list, Chad Green is the favorite for saves in the bullpen for Toronto.

Carlos Estevez has recorded saves in each of his last four appearances. He figures to likely be among the top closers available at the trade deadline.

Paul Sewald recorded back-to-back saves on Thursday and Friday after not seeing a save opportunity in two weeks.
