Kyle Pitts getting fifth-year option picked up
The Atlanta Falcons are exercising the fifth-year option for Kyle Pitts.
Fantasy Impact
As expected, the Falcons will pick up the fifth-year option to keep Pitts under contract for another season. He has been a bit disappointing so far relative to how much he was hyped up after being drafted fourth overall back in 2021, but this season he will finally be healthy and will presumably have good quarterback play from Kirk Cousins. This move was expected but still adds a bit more long-term security to the tight end’s profile.

Boston Scott inks one-year deal with Rams
Boston Scott has signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams. He joins the Rams after playing for the Eagles since they drafted him in 2018.
Fantasy Impact
Scott joins Kyren Williams and the newly drafted Blake Corum in the Los Angeles backfield. He likely won’t see significant playing throughout the season unless Wiliams or Corum get injured, but is a good depth piece for the Rams after being decimated at the running back position last year.

Brevyn Spann-Ford signing with Cowboys
Brevyn Spann-Ford is signing an UDFA deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy Impact
Spann-Ford was not picked in last week’s NFL Draft, but he will be joining the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent. He had a strong market, but Dallas is giving him a good deal and will allow him to compete for a roster spot. It’s highly unlikely that he carves out a fantasy-relevant role this year, however.
