Trey McBride projected as Cardinals second-leading receiver
NFL reporter Gregg Rosenthal projects Trey McBride as the second-leading receiver for the Cardinals this season.

Fantasy Impact

McBride broke out last season for 825 yards receiving on 81 receptions. That came with Kyler Murray missing more than half the season. Marvin Harrison Jr. projects to be the No. 1 target right away for Murray, but McBride is in a place to be that No. 2 target in the passing game on this Arizona offense.

Brian Robinson Jr.: Commanders expected to run more no-huddle offense
Commanders RB Brian Robinson Jr. told reporters that the team is expected to run more no-huddle offense this season.

Fantasy Impact

It makes sense that Washington would try to run a faster offense with the dual threat ability of Jayden Daniels under center. New offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury ran a heavy no-huddle offense with Arizona and it appears he’ll bring that same approach to Washington. It is looking like a completely new offense for the Commanders compared to recent years.

Geno Smith getting ‘good grasp’ on new offense under OC Ryan Grubb
Geno Smith told reporters he has “a really good grasp” of the offense under new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb.

Fantasy Impact

“I feel like I’m a dropback passer and I feel like this is a dropback offense,” Smith said. Grubb came to Seattle from the University of Washington where he coached Michael Penix Jr. This is likely going to be a completely different offense compared to what the Seahawks ran under Pete Carroll.
