Jones was released late last month after spending the last couple of seasons with the Jaguars. The 29-year-old wide receiver will bring seven seasons of NFL experience to the Arizona receiver room. Jones had his best campaign as a pro in 2022, hauling in 82 passes for 823 yards and five scores. He was limited to nine games last season due to multiple nagging injuries and finished the season with 34 grabs for 321 yards.

This should come as a surprise to no one, but it seems Bears’ head coach Matt Eberflus just wanted to make it official that Williams is indeed his starting quarterback. Do not expect any easing into the action for this year’s top overall draft pick when the regular season starts.
