Chris Sale is amidst a resurgent campaign. According to FanGraphs, in six starts spanning 36.2 innings this season, the veteran lefty has a 3.44 ERA, 2.81 xERA, 2.76 SIERA, 0.95 WHIP, 4.8 BB%, 29.0 K%, 34.0 CSW%, 111 Stuff+, 102 Location+ and 101 Pitching+.
Sale's matchup tonight will enhance his strikeout potential. This season, the Red Sox have an MLB-high 29.2 K% against lefties, and Boston has a 26.1 K% on the road. Furthermore, the Braves are -200, and the game's total is 9.0 runs.
Kyle Bradish (BAL) at WAS
Kyle Bradish had an encouraging first start in 2024 on May 2, holding the Yankees to one run on four hits, two walks and five strikeouts in 4.2 innings. He had a 32.1 CSW%, 109 Stuff+, 101 Location+ and 107 Pitching+.
Bradish's matchup and betting info are favorable. The Nationals are tied for 13th in wRC+ (101) against righties this year, but they are 20th in wRC+ (93) at home. Additionally, the Orioles are -170, and the game's total is 9.0 runs.
Jordan Hicks (SF) at COL
Coors Field is a house of horrors for pitchers. Nonetheless, the Rockies aren't a terrifying opponent. Instead, Colorado is 30th in wRC+ (73) and tied for 15th in wOBA (.314) at home. The Rockies have also struck out in 26.9% of their plate appearances in Colorado. The Rockies are also pathetic against righties, ranking last with a 71 wRC+ and punching out at a 28.0% clip.
Jordan Hicks is equipped to take advantage of the matchup. In seven starts spanning 38.0 innings this year, Hicks has a 1.89 ERA, 3.12 xERA, 4.06 SIERA, 1.03 WHIP, 9.2 BB%, 19.7 K%, 58.7 GB%, 27.4 CSW%, 119 Stuff+ 97 Location+ and 101 Pitching+. The game's total (10.5 runs) isn't ideal. Still, the Giants are -170, supporting Hicks's case for usage in GPPs.

The Giants have another cushy matchup at MLB's hitting paradise tonight. In 101.2 innings at home since debuting for the Rockies in 2019, Peter Lambert has a 6.99 ERA, 5.18 xFIP, 1.57 WHIP, 1.95 HR/9 and 14.5 K%. He's also coughed up a .391 wOBA at home in his career. It's an eruption spot for the Giants.

- According to Baseball-Reference, Mike Yastrzemski has hit 10 homers with a .373 OBP, .331 ISO and .994 OPS in 142 career plate appearances at Coors Field.
- In 179 career plate appearances at Coors Field, Nick Ahmed has hit eight homers with a .397 OBP, .269 ISO and .997 OPS.

Ashcraft is lousy in his hitter-friendly home ballpark. He's also struggled to strike out batters in his home digs. In 150.0 career innings at home, he's had 107 strikeouts, 6.42 K/9 and 16.4 K%. The matchup isn't easy for punchouts, either. This year, the Diamondbacks have had a 20.4 K% against righties and a 21.6 K% on the road.

Jose Altuve is putting together a stellar campaign. In 158 plate appearances in 2024, Altuve has seven homers and seven stolen bases with a .399 OBP, .210 ISO and 170 wRC+. The diminutive second baseman has also thrived on the road with the platoon advantage. In 256 plate appearances against lefties on the road since 2021, Altuve has had a .363 OBP, .215 ISO and 142 wRC+.
Altuve's matchup is rock-solid, too. Carlos Rodon has allowed a .356 wOBA to 368 righties since last season.
