It’s time for another week of high-stakes league fantasy baseball waiver wire review. The best players in the world play on NFBC and the most popular high-stakes contest is the NFBC Main Event, which has a $1,750 buy-in with a $7,000 league prize and a $200,000 overall prize. Thankfully, for everyone, NFBC allows us to see what each team is doing with their FAAB pickups on Sunday night.
Each week, I look at the most popular fantasy baseball waiver wire and FAAB pickups in the NFBC Main Event to see who the best players in the world are picking up and whether we should add them.

Fantasy Baseball FAAB Waiver Wire Pickups: Week 10
Jeremiah Estrada was picked up in 39 leagues with a max bid of $43 and a minimum bid of $1. Estrada has emerged as the clear set-up man in San Diego and registered two wins this week, which is the likely reason why he was so widely picked up. He doesn’t have much value unless something happens to Robert Suarez.
Luis Garcia was picked up in 39 leagues with a max bid of $35 and a minimum bid of $1. Garcia seems like the next man up for the Angels if Carlos Estevez loses the job, but it is hard to tell if that is happening because the Angels aren’t winning enough close games to illuminate if there is a changing of the guard.
Albert Suarez was picked up in 38 leagues with a maximum bid of $59 and a minimum bid of $1. Suarez is jumping back into the Orioles’ rotation after John Means and Dean Kremer hit the injured list (IL). Suarez pitched well when he was in the rotation previously. This is an astute pickup. He is protected by Camden Yards’ dimensions and he limits walks. Suarez will be picked up in more and more leagues after this week.
