James Wood (OF – WAS): James Wood is dominating in Triple-A, with a .385 batting average, nine home runs and 10 stolen bases. His impressive performance includes a stellar walk-to-strikeout ratio and consistent hitting against both righties and lefties. With the Washington Nationals’ outfield struggling, Wood’s call-up seems imminent. If he’s still available in your league, now is the time to stash him!
Junior Caminero (3B, SS – TB): Junior Caminero has recently shifted to second base, which may have impacted his hitting. He’s gone hitless over the last three games, dropping his average to .273. Despite the struggles, his counting stats remain solid. Keep an eye on his development as he adjusts to his new position.
Orelvis Martinez (2B, 3B, SS – TOR): After a hot start, Orelvis Martinez’s performance has dipped. He’s hitting just .154 in May, with his average falling to .243.
