News & Notes:

Pete Fairbanks was activated from the injured list earlier in the week. He dealt with a small injury to his finger shortly after his return but registered his first save since returning from injury on Friday.

With the Mariners’ bullpen depleted due to injuries and not performing as expected, Andres Munoz has taken clear hold of the closer role for Seattle. He has recorded back-to-back saves of four and five outs this week.

Devin Williams is expected to begin playing catch in the next week. Trevor Megill appears to have a slight hold of the Brewers’ closer role as of now.
