Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft
Let’s take a look at our latest dynasty rookie mock draft to help you prepare for your league. We dive into a few notable dynasty rookie draft picks.
1.03: Jayden Daniels (QB – WAS)
If you’re drafting No. 2 overall and need to add quarterback talent, Jayden Daniels is a fine pick to go with, but there are some things to worry about. The Commanders needed some offensive line talent after losing Charles Leno Jr., Saahdiq Charles and Nick Gates. They did take Brandon Coleman in the third round, but that was it.
His weapons are solid, with Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson, Zach Ertz, and Austin Ekeler, but the primary concern for Daniels will be how he approaches sliding when he breaks out and runs. If he can run and avoid big hits, he could be an extremely valuable asset.
1.06: Drake Maye (QB – NE)
We opted for Drake Maye with the 2QB designation here. His path to playing is more likely than McCarthy’s. Maye will get a chance to start after 8-12 games with Jacoby Brissett under contract.
The Patriots added Javon Baker and Ja’Lynn Polk, but the receiving options are still quite weak. For his value, we were certainly hoping for the Patriots to acquire Tee Higgins or Brandon Aiyuk.
1.09: Brock Bowers (TE – LV)
There are obviously some question marks surrounding the quarterback situation in Las Vegas. Still, Brock Bowers was selected this high to likely be the No. 2 option in this offense behind Davante Adams. Michael Mayer is there, but he was drafted by Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels, not Tom Telesco and Antonio Pierce. Bowers will be featured plenty in this offense.
